Clarington Flames is pleased to announce details for the
upcoming tryouts and coaches for the 2024-2025 season. With a focus on

Tryout Dates and Passports

Tryouts will kick off on April 17 and conclude on April 26.
Specific dates for each division will be announced shortly, allowing players
and their families ample time to prepare.
To participate in the tryouts, players must obtain a Tryout
Passport, available for purchase starting April 1, 2024. It's imperative to
note that U18AA tryouts are by invitation only, necessitating interested
candidates to reach out to the coach for registration details.
Teams
The Flames are planning for the following for the upcoming
season:
- U18: AA, A, and BB teams
- U15: AA, A, and BB teams
- U13: AA, A, and BB teams
- U11: AA, A, and BB teams
- U9: A and B teams
Revised Non-Resident Quotas
To enhance the High-Performance Program' the Flames have
adjusted non-resident quotas for the 2024-25 season. These revisions align with
changes implemented by neighboring associations, ensuring equitable
opportunities for all players while acknowledging existing commitments.
Registration Details
Registration for Tryout Passports commences on April 1, with
a deadline set for April 15th at noon. All registrations must be completed
online via the Ramp platform. Additionally, players seeking to try out after
playing for another association in the previous season must submit a Permission
to Tryout (PTT) form to [email protected] before the first tryout
session.
Tryout Process and Coaches
The tryout process goal is fairness and transparency, with
players receiving unique identification codes for easy tracking. Successful
selections will be posted on the Flames website, and coaches are tasked with
promptly updating the site with returning player information.
Acceptance and Deposit:
Once offered a spot on a Rep team, players are required to
accept the position in writing and provide a $600 deposit.
