Certification, Police Checks & Vulnerable Sector
To ensure you qualify as a CGHA volunteer, please be sure to review the Volunteer Screening Policy (OWHA).
Team staff and volunteers who have contact with athletes must have completed the following:
1. Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
2. Criminal Reference Check with Venerable Sector Search

Trainers
In addition to completing steps 1 and 2 above, trainers are also required to complete the Trainer Level 1 Qualification.
Youth aged 12 -17 years
Note: As of November 1, 2018, non-government agencies are not authorized to receive any results of any youth records and youth are no longer permitted to apply for any level of police record check. Please visit the DRPS website for more information.
