Board of Directors
The Clarington Girls Hockey Association Board of Directors is elected by the membership and is responsible for providing oversight and accountability for the association. They work together to ensure that all legal and ethical standards are followed, as well as that the assets and resources of the associations are properly managed. Each member of the board signs and agrees to the Code of Conduct every year.

Annual General Meeting
The Clarington Girls Hockey Association holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the end of May each year. AGMs are especially important because proposed changes to our Association's Constitution, bylaws, and policies, as well as voting for open Board of Director positions, are considered. All members are strongly encouraged to participate.
Information about upcoming AGMs will be posted here 30 days before the scheduled date.
The CGHA is governed by the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA), which oversees all-female hockey teams in Ontario and is a member partner of the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Hockey Canada's largest member and governing body in amateur hockey, and is thus required to follow all overarching rules and policies established by such organizations. If two policies conflict, the more comprehensive policy statement or rule takes precedence.

Uniform and Apparel Guide for 2022/2023 (Competitive/Rep/DS)
Please use this guide in conjunction with the Equipment and Apparel Policy, listed below.
In addition to the CGHA Constitution and Bylaws, policies will be enacted on a periodic basis to better define the organization's specific activities and positions. A policy that is effective is one that has been posted, has a unique number, and has been approved by the Board of Directors.
