Welcome to CGHA House League!
About House League
CGHA's House League program offers an exciting opportunity for female hockey players aged 4 to 21 with prior experience. With a typical week including practice and a game, it's the perfect environment to develop skills and foster a love for the game.
What to Expect
Get ready for a thrilling season packed with hockey action! Our season features regular practices and exhilarating 5-on-5 games. Check out the ice time breakdown for each age group:
-FUNdamentals 1 & 2: Two ice times per week
-U9-U15 Teams: Two ice times per week, plus one game and one practice
-U18/U22 Teams: Two games per week
-Each team comprises 15 players and 1 dedicated goalie, ensuring a supportive and dynamic atmosphere for growth and skill development.
Included in Your Hockey Fees
Your hockey fees cover everything you need for a fantastic season on the ice, including:
-Player's Jersey and Socks: Represent your team proudly with provided jerseys and socks.
-Ice Time: Enjoy ample ice time for practices and games.
-Officials and Timekeepers: Skilled officials and timekeepers ensure fair and smooth gameplay.
-Insurance: Your safety is paramount, with all players covered by insurance during official association activities.
Additionally, fees contribute to association development, covering coaching, administrative costs, and insurance coverage.
Teammate Requests
While we can't accommodate specific teammate requests due to high registration volumes, siblings can be placed on the same team upon request. Coaches also have the option to reserve two players, fostering camaraderie and teamwork for all.
Calling All Goalies!
Goalies are essential to every team, and we welcome your talent to our house league. However, goalie spots are limited, so register early to secure your place.
Registration Process
Returning participants from OWHA can register through the RAMP website using existing account details. New participants can create an account on RAMP for a smooth registration process. Please note that only credit card payments are accepted, with refunds subject to a $75 administrative fee.
