About Us

The Clarington Girls Hockey Association (CGHA) has been providing women and girls hockey development and programming since 1990, beginning with learn-to-play at the age of four and continuing through the age 21 with House League, Developmental Stream, and Competitive hockey. We are dedicated to empowering and inspiring athletes through an emphasis on teamwork, fun, and fair play, as well as respect for coaches, officials, players, opponents, and the game of hockey, while also creating an environment on and off the ice where players can learn valuable lessons in leadership, community, and skills that they can apply now and in the future.

The CGHA is governed by the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA), which oversees all-female hockey teams in Ontario and is a member partner of the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Hockey Canada's largest member and governing body in Ontario amateur hockey.

There are always new things to learn and new depths to reach, the CGHA recognizes and celebrates accomplishments large and small.
