Policies and Administration
In addition to the documents below, it’s important to review the Codes of Conduct. As an organization, we have established a set of guidelines that we expect all members to follow. This includes parents, coaches, team officials, players, and other volunteers. At our association, we strive to create a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity. Our programs and events are designed to provide a positive experience for all participants. To ensure this, we have established guidelines that everyone must follow. By adhering to these guidelines, we can create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. Thank you for your cooperation in making our programs and events a success.
Board of Directors
The CGHA Board of Directors is elected by the membership and is responsible for providing oversight and accountability for the association. They work together to ensure that all legal and ethical standards are followed, as well as that the assets and resources of the associations are properly managed. Each member of the board signs and agrees to the Code of Conduct every year.

Annual General Meeting
The Clarington Girls Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place annually. Check back for updates. We plan to host a Special General Meeting, date to come in 2024.
CGHA Policies
The CGHA is governed by the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA), which oversees all-female hockey teams in Ontario and is a member partner of the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Hockey Canada's largest member and governing body in amateur hockey, and is thus required to follow all overarching rules and policies established by such organizations. If two policies conflict, the more comprehensive policy statement or rule takes precedence.

CGHA Policies
In addition to the CGHA Constitution and Bylaws, policies will be enacted on a periodic basis to better define the organization's specific activities and positions. A policy that is effective is one that has been posted, has a unique number, and has been approved by the Board of Directors.
